Back in 2008, photographer David Chancellor began documenting the thriving industry behind the wildlife in sub-Saharan Africa. Hunters is the first in a series of three books that are a result of this work; an exploration of the complex relationship between man and animal as seen through the eyes of the tourist trophy hunter. The images range from young children to adults in full camouflage to rooms layered with exotic skins, but all are equally arresting as they are illuminating. They should make an incredible book, because they are definitely making an incredible Project of the Day.
