Funded Friday.
Congratulations are due to a couple of exciting film projects that both successfully reached their funding goals today.
Fishbowl is a bittersweet character study that traces the sudden unravelling of two interconnected lives. Despite an ultra-low budget, the small team behind the project is pushing for a fully realized feature film — and their successfully funded Kickstarter campaign will help make it possible, one klieg light at a time.
STOP is a documentary ripped straight from the headlines in New York City. An examination of the NYPD’s “stop and frisk” policy, which is currently the target of a class-action lawsuit, STOP will spotlight the wider story by focusing on the plight of a specific plaintiff at the center of this pivotal legal case.
Nice work, creators. Now keep us in the loop as your films become reality!
