1. Doc hits The World.

Somewhere Between is a documentary that explores the question: “Who am I?”

Following the lives of four teenage girls adopted from China and growing up in the US, the doc portrays each of these young women as they negotiate the tricky terrain of adolescence while simultaneously working through the experience of being trans-racial adoptees in today’s America.

After running a successfully funded Kickstarter project last spring, creator Linda Goldstein Knowlton is currently receiving a wave of attention for her project. She recently updated her backers with a slew of cities where her film will be playing (as seen in the map above). She also announced an exciting feature spot on Public Radio International’s flagship program, The World.
