Eat your environment.
Foraging and Feasting celebrates local foods by identifying wild edible plants and offering recipes for their enjoyment. The collaboration of a botanical illustrator and a veteran herbalist, this cookbook doubles as a field guide to the edible outdoors.
Plant-in City is a living art installation/terrarium. The planter system contains built-in sensors that, activated by natural cycles like sun exposure, humidity, and temperature, translate environmental data into breathtaking sounds and visuals. Imagined into existence by a New York-based group of architects, designers, and developers, they’re now looking to create a large-scale “Green City” inside of a gallery, where plants populate stackable structures for a one-of-a-kind immersive environmental experience. It’s our Project of the Day.
