1. bonhomous:

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get a work-in-progress look at “Why We Do This,” a massive exhibition by Andy DuCett opening at The Soap Factory in Minneapolis on Saturday, Sept 8.
Andy gave me a tour, told me about everything I won’t get to experience since I am missing the show when it opens (Fabio look-alikes handing out roses, Minnesota beer, hive-fives from a HS football team and 25¢ LP’s), and graciously let me take some photos of the partially installed show.
This show is of particular interest to me since Andy was able to purchase part of an airplane for the installation using Kickstarter. Bravo!
Way more info about his show, videos and images on The Soap Factory website:http://www.soapfactory.org/

Nice!
